The Country Room is a warm and inviting room featuring extraordinary views of the mountains of Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Wildlife also abounds in this wooded setting and, because they know they are safe there are many deer, rabbits, turkey and other wild game may be enjoyed throughout the year. The room offers a rustic atmosphere with its newly hand-hewn timber and cozy stone fireplace.

You are invited to make yourself at home explore in your stocking feet if you wish then settle-in in front of the beautiful stone fire place with a cocktail or coffee to help you unwind. The chefs will be sure you have a few goodies to munch on. On warmer evenings you might enjoy our large screened in porch with a panoramic view of four states as well as the Antietam Battlefield. Bird watchers will love this as we have many feeders drawing all sorts of beauties and best of all the only noises you are likely to hear is the chirping.
